Juan Olivarez Exits GRCC Juan Olivarez is stepping down as President of Grand Rapids Community College after nine years. The announcement was made on Thursday, March 20. The Collegiate has put together a special on-line section to cover his life, his career and his plans for the future.

students Kyle Thompson and Matt Berrios
was performed last Friday. The night started with Thompson, 22,
playing John W. Duarte’s three-piece melody,“ English Suite.” The introduction to the piece
started slow and gentle, but by the end the
vibrating chords danced with his fingers. His last solo, “Jubilation, an introduction
to Sunburst, Sunburst,” was Thompson’s favorite
to perform. During the piece, his body
